Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is an undergraduate qualification that must be pursued in order to become teachers in schools. It is a two-year course that can be pursued by a person who has completed under graduation in any subject.
A teacher should be capable to teach his/her subject.But besides teaching, teachers have other responsibilities in their profession. Only the love for the subject is not enough to handle a class full of students. Anyone who wishes to pursue B.Ed should introspect themselves and their personality in order to take on such responsibilities.
In present world, teachers are not just someone who teaches a subject in class, they are the torch bearers of life. They mould the students into a responsible citizen of a nation. Teachers must renew themselves in all aspects of their knowledge so that, they can accurately pave way for the future generation.  Teachers are the ones who mould the future. It is one of the noble profession that requires lots of knowledge and wisdom.
Before entering the profession of teaching a person should make sure what category of students he/she wants to teach. In detail, a person should analyse whether he/she can teach in the primary section or whether they want the youth who are to be mould for their personal and professional path, otherwise adults or senior citizens where you need to train them in developing skills.
B.Ed is not the end of a teaching qualification. A teacher has to go through constant training, to enhance his/her skills. Being a teacher should be a calling from inside. A teacher is a person that imparts wisdom to his/her students. A teacher should present numerous skills such as calm, impartial and confident. A teacher should also show leadership skills as he/she leads the students to a better future.
Teaching is about knowing each student’s psychology, where the teacher should be aware of his/her student minds, their perception, thoughts and characteristics and how they would grasp the knowledge that is taught by you. A teacher should be able to develop a child’s curricular and co-curricular activities.
Any person can pursue B.Ed with proper qualification. But, in order to become a teacher, a person should be open to all thoughts and perception. They should be able to change each child to better future.
