Montessori teaching is a non-traditional method that infuses education techniques with a thorough understanding of child’s development.
Montessori teachers foster independent growth in their students, acting more like guides than traditional teachers. Candidates must complete an accredited Montessori training program to be eligible to teach.
All Montessori teachers must receive specialized training in this specific education method.
A Montessori teaching diploma from a program accredited by the CIVT Board prepares individuals to use the Montessori educational approach with their students.
Course is mainly focused on the concepts of Montessori principles, such as ‘the absorbent mind, sensitive periods and the child tendencies, the subconscious power, which guide the child in self-construction and freedom to learn on its own within a structured environment.
